Inspired by Arts & Crafts design and the famous William Morris print “The Strawberry Thief”, I designed this quilt for Today’s Quilter magazine using William Morris prints in autumnal colours. Choose your own favourite fall fabrics to make this cosy quilt using quick-piecing techniques and raw-edge machine appliqué. (Finished size approximately 76″ x 67″)

This pattern includes a 28-page, step-by-by instruction booklet in full colour plus full-size templates.

(Downloadable PDF patterns are formatted to print on either A4 or letter-size paper; just select your preference in your printer options.)

I’m Fi (rhymes with “me” not “my”) and I am a designer, maker and artist. My goal is to inspire and delight you. You may have seen my quilt designs in Today’s Quilter magazine or my textile art on a book cover or in an exhibition. As a designer, I love designing quilts that use multiple blocks to create a whole that’s greater than the sum of its parts, making deceptively complex patterns using simple basic techniques that are easily mastered, and  I’m currently loving the interplay between piecing and simplified appliqué as well.
