If you are looking for something new, and would like to learn technique as well as follow a pattern then this could be for you. Running from 10th June to 5th August the Vlieseline Quilt a long is live on You Tube!
The 9 block sampler quilt uses a selection of the Vlieseline quilting range to allow stitchers to try out different techniques and products.
The sampler quilt features Quilter’s Grid, Quickscreen Triangle, Quickscreen Square, F220, Bondaweb. The videos also include Bamboo Mix & Iron On Ironing Cloth.
Each week from the 10th June – 5th August (Saturday 10:30) there will be a new video walking through the process for creating that week’s block. There is also a bonus video, to be shared between weeks 1-2 sharing the QAYG (quilt as you go) methods used for joining the sampler blocks.
The videos will be shared over on the Vlieseline YouTube Channel and will also be cross promoted on the Facebook & Instagram pages.
As always, everyone is welcome and this is free to join. The event will be supported on the Vlieseline Creative Community Facebook Group and we would love to see your efforts posted to the UK Quilters United FB Group too.
All videos will remain on the YouTube Channel and will be added to a unique QAL2023 playlist.
