Well, can you? The UK Quilters Facebook Group, alongside this website can. Imagine if that was or is your shopfront.
Whether you are a bricks and mortar shop or an online trader, there’s never been a better time to reach out to the massive band of patchworkers, quilters, bagmakers, embroiders, fabric hoarders (did I mention that one) and everyone in the craft sector looking to something to buy something to support their craft.
The website has always been the place to find information, and over the last three and a half years since we launched it has grown to be one of the most comprehensive reference points online. But now we are ready to take the next step.
The last couple of years or so have hit every trade sector very hard. The lack of exhibitions and the visitors less eager to venture out really has been causing issues hasn’t it. During lockdowns and periods of home working, crafts, and not just patchwork and quilting, have become more and more important as we have sat trying to fill our time patiently waiting for life to become more normal. There is only so much daytime tv anyone can take and, let’s face it, 2021 has not seen the best of weather for gardening either. The original concept of the website was to offer support for the UK sector, both through the online shop, but also the information it delivers to help our friends at the UK Quilters and other associated Facebook groups.
Today we are announcing the opportunity to sponsor areas of the website and take advantage of the massive following it has built over the last three and half years .. you may already notice Janome appear in our front page slider. They have long been a friend of the website.
We have devised affordable advertising packages for anyone to take advantage of .. you might prefer to try a teaser for a month, or perhaps you want to keep your shop or service in the limelight for longer. Of course, the online shop will continue – it’s a very popular part of the website! But for the first time, you really have a chance to hit the spotlight in front of the 24K combined audience of the website and facebook group. Think about it – .. how many visitors are you seeing to your shop in a day, or to your own website? Can you beat more than 2,000 unique visitors a week?
If you would like to discover more then please email [email protected] to reach Sylvia who will explain how things work. (and for those of you who hadn’t realised .. Resolution built and has taken care of the website since its inception).
