One thing I love about quilting is that you never stop learning new things. I learned very near the start of my quilting journey that making two half square triangles at a time using squares of fabric was so much easier than making them one at a time using fabric cut on the bias. Whenever I’ve had multiples of them to make, I’ve always done them two at a time.
Last week, I started making a memory quilt that needed 16 half square triangles. I thought I’d try and see how easy it was making 8 half square triangles in one. I couldn’t believe how quick and easy it was and I’ll definitely be using it again.
If you’ve never tried it, here is how I did it.
