I was away for the last few days of October with a study group in Northen France, and the weather was beautifully sunny – but still cold. I made it onto the beach several times for a walk, but was wrapped up warmly with scarf and gloves!!!

UKQU BOOK CLUB 7 years, 7 months agoFinished this today. I actually quite enjoyed the book. Lite and frothy. Nothing too taxing for this busy time of year so was easy to pick up and put down. Enjoyed the quilts descriptions. Roll on next month.

UKQU BOOK CLUB 7 years, 7 months agoFinished…an enjoyable read, not taxing and totally out of my usual genre but a great book to read when I can’t sleep at night. The over the top descriptions were a strange addition but I rather enjoyed them.
Looking forward to next months book. -

UKQU BOOK CLUB 7 years, 8 months agoThank you I will order it today. I quilt mine by domestic machine I have a Bernina Record 830 an oldie but a goodie, nothing fancy just a meandering quilting but it works fine.
