This year, for the second year, Quilt Sandwich are taking all of their stock on the road to the Festival of Quilts. The road down to the NEC is a long one but it is wonderful to be able to see so many fellow quilters having a great time at the Festival of Quilts. It is equally exciting to be able to spread the word about the wonders of Extra Wide Backing fabric.
As an exhibitor at The Festival of Quilts we have been allocated 4 free tickets to do with as we wish. To this end we would like to set UKQU readers a little task in order to be one of the lucky recipients of the tickets.
This year we are pleased to be able to give these tickets to 4 lucky UKQU blog readers. In addition to a ticket to Festival of Quilts the lucky 4 will also receive a fat quarter of s QS Batik Extra Wide Fabric as well.
Although some of our fabrics are advertised on UKQU in the shop on line here our main shop is on our own website at www.quiltsandwich.co.uk.

In order to ensure that we have time to get the prize to your door in time for you to visit to the Festival of Quilts the draw will be made on 30th June. We will take the names of all entrants and the lucky four will be drawn at random on that day.

As a self confessed blue-fabric-aholic it has to be Electric Blue for me; not only would it make a wonderful backing but I know I could use any off cuts in patchwork quilts! Now thats what I call a Win – Win!!!
The Pomegranate Fireglow really caught my eye. It would be awesome to see all of them in person though.

Tie dye Aqua is my favourite, I used this recently to back a wedding gift quilt for a friend. Looking forward to FOQ this year as always great show!
Berries indian ocean is my favorite, it is just right for backing my latest quilt.
I’d love to win and a batik backing to a quilt would be fab! I would choose whichever set off the front of the quilt well but I do like fossil fern. Cathryn
