When I opened Loopy’s Safe Haven Group on Facebook last year, I had thought it might be a one off.  However, 2020 has been such an unusual year, bringing lots of different challenges to people, I’ve been asked to open it again this year.

The group has come out of archive and is now welcoming new members.  It will get properly going on Friday 18th, and then will close 17th January.

Who is the group for?  Anyone that may be struggling for one reason or another.  Or maybe you can offer support.  The group is a safe place for people to come and express their thoughts and feelings without fear of judgement.  This is what one member had to say about last year- “I found it a helpful thing and looked forward to the Thankful posts every day, we had some wonderful exchanges there between us all.”

We will be including the Thankful posts again and there will be a couple of Zoom drop in sessions. Of course, there will be creativity involved as this has proven to have beneficial effects on mental well being.

During the course of the month, there will be a series of emails which will include some hints and tips on how to cope with this time of the year.  You can sign up for them here and you will find the Safe Haven Group on Facebook here.  I look forward to seeing you.
