This jolly little mug rug is made using English paper piecing (also known as mosaic piecing), and finishes 5 1/2″ (14cm) across.

This complete kit contains all the fabric, ready-printed card templates and even thread & wadding – everything you need to make this impressive little mug rug.

Suitable for a beginner or someone with a little more experience, as it includes eight pages of detailed instructions.

Carolyn will show you all the tricks and tips to master the cutting and stitching of the stripes to get this lovely “vortex” effect – it’s not as difficult as you might expect.
