Something simple and quick to make for baby to play with.
Cut 6 4”squares for each cube…18 shown for 3 cubes.

¼” seams.
Toy stuffing
Bondaweb for letters
Stabilizer
Draw out letters on Bondaweb remembering to reverse.

Cut out rough and iron onto wrong side of scraps.

Cut out on the lines and iron onto centre of chosen squares …back with a stabilizer and machine close to edge round letters with zig zag or blanket stitch. Tear off the stabilizer.

Lay out as in photo and join the four in the long row first, leaving ¼” open at each end…also staystitch or reverse at beginning and end.

Join the top and bottom pieces to the lettered square, by pinning at the start and end for guidance to stitch. Press.

Turn the squares to form the cube, again leaving ¼” ends open.

Keep checking there’s no holes in the corners.

On the final one leave a gap open in the middle to stuff.

Turn through and push corners out. Stuff with toy stuffing, pushing well into corners. Stitch the opening securely.
