I went to the Duxford show on Friday 8th March 2019 and it did not disappoint, so much to see and BUY with bargains to be had!!!

I went early with some friends and we decided to start on the left-hand side of the hall and proceed up and down the aisles, working our way to the far-right side. Some of the stallholders that always attend had changed from their usual location but on the whole a majority were in the same place which is helpful for someone like me who has no sense of direction.

Some of the aisles did get congested and were hard to pass at times but on the whole, we managed to get around well. We even managed to lose each other a few times!

I found some lovely fabrics that I look forward to using and I stocked up on Aurifil threads in various colours. I also managed to track down some extra deep thread boxes for my cones of thread. I had a chat with the lovely Andy from Crafty UK and received my free ruler from Clarence as I was wearing my UKQU badge.

But enough about my purchases, look at some of the beautiful quilts that were on show, I aspire to be as good as the folk that made these some day……
