Last week was my birthday and my neighbour very kindly brought round a little bunch of flowers. When I arranged them I found the perfect mat to place them and was amazed how the colours matched up to my rainbow mat. The pattern for the mat can be found here.. ukqu.co.uk/shops/lyn-butler/

This prompted me to go out in the garden with my camera and find some colour which was bursting out in the beautiful sunshine.
I’m no ‘Charlie Dimmock’ but really appreciate the beauty of the nature that surrounds us. I found this brilliant app called ‘LeafSnap’ which you can just upload a photo and it identifies that flower, leaf, fruit or bark.
Here are a few shots for you to enjoy…

Welsh Poppy

A selection of roses…

And a few more beauties…

The peonies haven’t appeared yet but the ants are enjoying the sweet sap…

Check out the log stacking skills…yes….a patcher lives here!

And a little bit of fun in the front garden for the passing kiddies…

I hope you’ve enjoyed a stroll round our little garden. Go out into your garden and start clicking your garden photos, you’ll be amazed at the hidden beauty.

Lovely garden. I am always taking photos of the flowers in our garden where we have a lot of poppies but not welsh poppies – I can’t get them to grow here.
Thankyou so much for responding x
