At the Festival of Quilts this year, for the very first time, one of the first ladies of Quilting – Jenny Doan – will be visiting with her famous Trunk Show.
Jenny Doan has been called ‘The most famous quilter in the world’ with her Youtube tutorials being viewed more than 110 million times.
Jenny will be giving a two hour ‘trunk show’ with humour, laughter and even a few tears. Jenny will share her story, which includes how she got started in quilting, how MSQC came to be and how this quilting phenomenon has impacted her life.
The lovely people at FOQ have given two pairs of tickets to us at UKQU.co.uk to share with you all.
The face value of each ticket is £26 and will entitle you and a friend to a seat in the Theatre, Hall 9 at FOQ to enjoy Jenny’s talk.
This competition will be drawn on 1st July. [NB – the tickets do not include entry to the 2019 Festival of Quilts] [this competition was inadvertently drawn early. If the prizes are not claimed by Monday 10th June we will reopen the competition and redraw on 1st July. ]
DID YOU WIN?
The two ladies who were drawn last time didn’t claim their prizes … so we are opening the bidding again and will draw the winners on 1st July.
Leave a comment and tell us why you would like to win two tickets to hear Jenny talk about her quilting journey.
[remember to mention which date you prefer .. Saturday 3rd August or Sunday 4th August 2019]
