I have long been an admirer of your work. Determined to make myself a quilted coat, it won’t be in your league, but I will have some fun!

I know, but I certainly didn’t expect a Flowers from Molly “Box Of Joy” … total lovely surprise. I just do what I can to keep me busy in these often dark days, and if it gives a lift to someone else that is all the thanks you need xxx

Thank you Ami! It just shows you what can be done working as a motivated team in a local community with other “people who sew” and using somewhat bonkers fabric makes the sewing process more enjoyable. We got the donation figures for the Poppy themed Masks which were at the 4 local mask trees. £1129.11 was raised from our face coverings whic…[Read more]

Thanks Maggie, we are a fairly small town with about 6000 inhabitants, but still very community minded, and somehow we all know someone else that can contribute to a joint effort.

Wow, that’s amazing Teresa, well done to you and your fellow crafters. I wish more communities came together the way that your community have done, wouldn’t the world be a better place x

Thanks Christine. It was a bit of an experiment both in terms of using the “Twisted Pinwheel” acrylic template, and making the duvet cover, just relieved it worked!

Some of you may have read some of my stories in the past, stand alone episodes about breaking an Olfa cutting mat, how to tackle a Moda scrap bag, a festive garland with sprouts, shrink-wrapping a Christmas tree, and…

That is quite some feat on something that size, I’ve done a smaller quilt some years ago. It looks amazing

Brilliant that Carol was able to show the finished quilt to Carl from Panicos, it was lovely. I have Already read her Blog. Love your purchases. As a Moda designer I love Robin Pickins and have some of that range already on order from Shelagh Folgate at Moda Fabric Treasures. I will have to find Japan Crafts online because I love that charm pack…[Read more]

Before I started doing Patchwork and Quilting again after a break of over 35 years I was an avid Cross Stitcher. I designed cross stitch embroidery professionally, and still have hundreds of resource books and art books. I have had a cull of all my fiction paperbacks and given those to charity shops, but I still have all the art books and all my…[Read more]
