I always think that another thing worth thinking about is “does my comment read the same way as it sounds in my head?”. In other words, a comment where you can hear and see the comment being said &#8211; maybe with a smile &#8211; sometimes sounds quite different when just written down.<br />
I am guilty of over using emojis for that reason….. </p>

I found that, by following the adage “how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time!” and actually tackling the project in smaller chunks eg concentrating on cutting one colour at a time, sewing one colour at a time etc I stopped procrastinating and started doing. </p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Another point is that a quarter is a quarter of a yard / metre, whether it is cut fully across the width of the fabric or half way across the width. An eighth is an eighth of a yard / metre, again regardless of how it is cut. I hope this makes sense.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I don’t believe that they are the same. The difference between ‘fat’ and ‘long’ as far as I understand them is that ‘fat’ is a cut that goes partially across the width of the fabric, whereas a ‘long’ cut is across the width of the fabric.<br />
