Excellent cause Sue and what a great idea. Will make some of these for our group exhibition next year. A good way to use up some old CDs but will have to find a vegan alternative to the tuna tin 🙂
-
Thanks Ruth – gosh never thought of the tin!!!! What on earth can you get that is Vegan and the same size as a Universal Tuna tin? 🙂
-
Maybe a little tin of vegan spread from the Health food store – will check it out and let you know Sue. 🙂

Chick peas?

Might be a bit too tall. Will go searching in a health food store and see what I come up with. Thanks Heather. 🙂

This may just encourage me to clear out some CD’s, your explanation is really clear. So good to hear that you are part of that little village and helping to keep it vibrant, Andalusians are such lovely people in my experience.

What a brilliant idea, thanks for sharing

That’s so lovely Sue. I’m adding it to my extremely long to-do list 🙂

What great idea! I keep thinking I would make one using one of the hoops I have. Have made pottery clocks at ‘Classes’ but this is a great idea for my sewing room. Thank You Sharon

Quite satisfying… and a good scraps user. Do pull the strips straight when sewing two or more together – they tend to ‘bag’ otherwise…. Just a comment 🙂

My Bowl has a circular base with a diameter of 7inches. But you can make it smaller…

Thank you Chris. I bought a pack of these because of your Product Review. THEY ARE BRILLIANT!!! They are everything you said… they work, they stay put and, yes, you can wash your hands and they still work. Best £8 I have spent in a long time.

I think that is an excellent idea! No need to burn fingertips, mess with glue or thread a needle -all of which leave to chaos for the butterfingers amongst us.
