I am Miriam Galadima-Benson, I’m a stay-at-home wife and mother to 2 beautiful girls and a baby boy. I design and make little girls dresses from home using African prints (also known as Ankara).
I became fascinated with Quilting- the whole creative process, choosing fabrics, deciding on a pattern and looking at the finished work that was once only an idea.
I made my very first quilt using Ankara, the fabric most familiar to me and loved the exuberance the bold patterns and colors it gave my quilt.
Quilting with African fabric gives me a tangible piece of my African culture I can wrap around myself!
Through Africa Quilt Fabrics, I want to introduce you to my culture.
I want to share my love of the fabrics that are uniquely African with you.

• All orders are shipped by Registered International Mail and typically take 10-20 working days. It can take longer especially during peak times. Most items provide tracking or delivery confirmation. - In some cases such as an oversized item, we may require an additional shipping cost and if so we will contact you. - Orders cannot be combined. - Orders over $300 must ship in a box. • Please Note: We ship our international packages using the Nigerian Postal Service Registered Mail. Larger orders shipped with this method often get more scrutiny from some countries and customs fees are more likely.
Purchased products can be returned for a store credit within 30 days of original purchase, provided they are unopened and in "like-new" condition. Any shipping on returns will be at the expense of the buyer. The returned goods must include a copy of the receipt, your e-mail address, shipping address and phone number. However, items sold as a part of a daily deal are "final sale". Since they are offered at a discount, not be refunded.
