These Blog Hop 12″ square blocks can be used on their own making a beautiful flower quilt or together with the other Blog Hop blocks to make a fabulous garden flower quilt, encompassing many techniques.

Applique is done by cutting shapes out of fabric and layering them, and stitching around the edge either by hand or machine. Examples have been found from 4 thousand years BC!!
