Fancy a fun, quirky quilt to make? Leave the standard square block behind (temporarily) and try something new. With no templates needed, try creating easy non-standard blocks that can be used for plenty of other non-quilty projects. This finished quilt measures 54″ x 86″ (suitable for a Single bed) but has details on how to up-size it for Double and Kingsize quilts too!
What do you need to make this quilt? Up to 10 Fat Quarters in oranges and greens and 5 yards/ 4 3/4 metres of white based fabric. Full details in the pattern. This can be made with leftovers for a scrappy quilt, so don’t worry if you haven’t quite got what’s specified. You’ll also need backing fabric plus wadding slightly larger than the finished size to complete the whole quilt.
Suitable for adventurous beginners upwards PLUS it contains a special link on the pdf pattern to access a 45 minute video going through the main steps of the quilt and some tips on quilting, binding and finishing your wonderful new quilt!
