Having seen lots of wonderful projects on Pinterest made using the Clover Embroidery Stitching Tool, I was eager to volunteer for the task of reviewing it. There was a press release about it earlier in the year, you can see it here.  It is available from most craft shops, prices from around £10.  You will also need to stranded cotton and embroidery hoop to get started.

Watch the video as I open the packet and get to grips with the Embroidery tool. You will see my first attempts and my thoughts about it.

Thank you to Clover for the opportunity to test and review the Clover Embroidery Stitching Tool. It definitely needs some practice. If you can get proficient with it, it opens a whole new world of possibilities to create wonderfully textural pieces.

Personally, I much prefer traditional embroidery but I was glad to have had the opportunity to try it. I’d love to know if you’ve tried used one and what you’ve created using it.
