FMQ FUN WITH FLOWERS
For my contribution to the #GFBH2020 event I have looked at a technique rather than the piecing or applique route and have produced a 3D Trapunto block . It is my favourite way to quilt, when this project came my way I just had to do one. The block is trapuntoed and full of colour and intrigue. so i hope you give it a go.
It has a full workbook with pictures to help you complete it and a pattern to print and trace off. You can find it in UKQU Merchandise SHOP. I hope you like it and will give it a try it is a lot easier than you might think it is for all levels.
When finished it will give a 3D effect and can be used as a cushion centre or a table centre,or a block in your quilt it is a finished 12.5 inches block including seam allowance, you will learn a lot about FMQ and Trapunto quilting have fun.hope to see everyone’s creations
