I think the Craft Cotton Co are quickly becoming one of my favourite fabric companies. The quality of the fabric is superb and the latest batch of design are fantastic. I have been given the privilege of reviewing the range called Lily Pad by Debbie Shore. Even the name of it evokes happy pictures in your mind and the fabric doesn’t disappoint.
Opening the envelope and seeing the fabric drew an immediate ‘oooo’ of delight. I knew straight away that I was going to use some of it to make gifts for a colleague who is expecting her first baby. We don’t know the gender yet, so the green fabric was going to be perfect for my first make.
Combining the fabric with organic cotton toweling, I’ve created two burp cloths, one a plain rectangle, the second I’ve shaped. The towel was from Ikea and was on sale. I should be able to get one or two more from it, not bad for £1.25!
As with all Craft Cotton Co Fabric I’ve used, the fat quarters are a decent size, the fabric is of high quality and excellent to work with. Now I’m going back to the drawing board to decide what to make next with the rest of the fabric.
