UKQU BOOK CLUB 8 years, 2 months agoJust realised how to do this … and we only went and created the website didnt we! hehe.
So personally, I would like to have a book recommended and read a chapter at a time .. and discuss the plot lines and characters. I am a lazy reader and often skim over important elements. This way would concentrate me more. Then a forum for the…[Read more] -

UKQU BOOK CLUB 8 years, 2 months agoFor me it would be option 1 which would encourage me to read more if theres a deadline. I wonder, does it have to be the whole book at once, or perhaps a chapter a given time period .. discuss, explore the plot and ideas and then continue?

UKQU BOOK CLUB 8 years, 2 months agoI like the idea of option 1. If we have different book series posted or just book titles etc I am bound to get lost and miss interesting titles. Of course I will go with the flow as they say. 😀📔

Option 1: Everyone reads the same book at the same time:
Should we select a book and read that “together”? What should be our first book and how long would we leave everyone to get hold of it and read it? After the set time, would we like to discuss the book in the Forum pages?Option 2: Reviews of various books / series in…[Read more]

Hi Jane, I had one of these in the ‘free’ pack that came with my new Sewing machine. I hadn’t a clue what it was for (it didn’t have a label) but it looked as if it would take the bobbins. It is a brilliant piece of kit for all the reasons you have said. I would recommend the Bobbin Holder to any Sewist(!)
