First impression, a well presented plastic bottle with screwtop & seperate spray unit containing approx half a litre. On opening, a very pleasant ‘Linen Fresh’ fragrance, without being overpowering.

The spray nozzle unit is easy to apply to the bottle but the open/shut nozzle is a little stiff to twist round.

There is no stickiness when pressed with a hot iron.

I experimented with two identical pieces of fabric, spraying just one piece.Comparing the two, as you can see in the picture below the sprayed piece holds up very firmly, compared with the non sprayed piece and it gives a firm hold, without feeling too stiff.

This would make applique and joining fabrics much easier to handle when sewn.

On another experiment I pressed a crease into a piece of fabric. The one on the left is pressed open without any spray, and as you can see, the crease is too difficult to remove when pressed, whereas the sprayed piece on the right no longer has a crease after pressing.

There is also a noticable difference in the edges fraying as seen in picture below.

I am grateful for the opportunity to test this product, I like it very much, and in future it will be on my ‘must have’ list.

I would definitely recommend it to others.

I love Best Press, I use it all the time. I especially love the rose scented one, but it does leave a scent in the fabrics so I also have the unscented one to use when making things for my husband or son as they may not appreciate the smell of roses 😉
