Based on the official UK Quilters United logo, this is a foundation paper piecing (FPP) pattern for you to use to create your own UKQU logo to add to your makes.

This PDF download is for the pattern with 6″ tall letters plus sashing to create your own version of our striking logo. The recommendation is that your finished letters should be trimmed to 8″ square and then sewn together for a 15″ finished / 15.5″ unfinished block. Two versions of the Q is provided.

Suggested fabrics: Kona solids – Cayenne (355) for red, and Evening (195) for blue. IKEA’s Ditte fabric is available in suitable red, blue and white.

The pattern has been tested by members of the UKQU foundation paper piecing Facebook group, and as a result, the cover page includes some useful hints and tips. If you have any questions, please send me a message and I’ll try to help out.
