Pattern and tutorial (with multiple photographs) to help you make a customised footmuff. Having the actual pushchair / stroller to hand will make the process easier, but I have included suggested / generic measurements to help you make the footmuff as a surprise gift, although you may want to hold off adding the holes for the straps until you know the exact locations.
I believe that anyone with basic sewing skills should be able to make this footmuff. The pattern includes sewing a zip and making button holes (for the safety straps), so you need to be familiar with these techniques, or have someone to hand who can help you.
The pattern is for your individual and personal use only, and it may not be sold on or shared with anyone. However, I welcome you to make footmuffs and give away or even sell based on this pattern. After all, the footmuffs in the stores are ridiculously expensive and only by providing an alternative, may the manufacturers set the prices at a more sensible level! If you’d like to teach a class making this footmuff, please do; but make sure everyone purchases their own pattern.
You do not need to print the tutorial. This is a low resolution file to enable faster download, but still suitable for screen / print.
Thank you for supporting my family by purchasing this pattern.
