Small and Mighty is the best way to describe this latest offering from Clover – the Hot Hemmer Square. Measuring 6″ x 6″ and made from nylon fibre board, it’s portable and does exactly what it says on the tin.
The nylon fibre board allows the heat and/or steam from your iron to penetrate the fabric in your project , specifically designed to give crisp, sharp crease lines to your seams.
I was really surprised by the accuracy of my folded seams, the Hot Hemmer doesn’t retain any heat so I was able to reposition it and move it around as I was going, all while saving my little fingers from getting singed!
The ruler marking are a great feature as I was able to measure as I was going along, so I could absolutely guarantee success as I was folding and pressing my way around this particular part of my project.

Just look at those perfect edges!! It made top stitching this section an absolute dream, the seams were so crisp they didn’t try and unfold at any point and overall held the shape exactly as I needed it. This formed the back panel of very special project I have been working on over the last few months – upcycling a vintage train case.
