UKQU BOOK CLUB 7 years, 1 month agoThanks Pam! Having canvassed interest a year ago, it just seemed such a shame not to continue with a book club. I may be less skilled at leading any discussions, but the Forum is here if anyone would like to discuss the books.
Agree regarding the story; a bit predictable and over-simplistic, but still enjoyable.

It’s always lovely to get fabric sent in the post to test and being a London girl, I suppose it was appropriate that the fabric I received were these London Town Fat Quarters from the Craft Cotton Co.

What fun fabric and such an innovative use for them! Visiting relatives in Hannover in May, might need to make them a London based present as a memory of a great visit to London last year.

Sounds like the perfect plan. I’ve just done a passport wallet using some more of the fabric. Doing a blog post now 🙂

I am a big audiobook fan because I can stitch whilst I listen so please can you choose some books that are available in audio format. Love being introduced to books I haven’t come across before and then see other people’s comments.
-
I know for sure that at least one of the books scheduled until September is available on Audible, but not so sure about the others. Almost all of them are available as print and ebook; and many of the ebooks have the ‘speech’ function enabled. A bit ‘mechanical’ but perhaps a possibility. The publishers of quilting novels seem to be smaller outlets so not prioritising audio (guessing it is still expensive to make).
