It is almost a year since I kicked off the UKQO Book Club with Tracy Chevalier’s The Runaway and arranged for us to work with British Patchwork and Quilting to announce the books. Arlene was kind enough to execute my…

I am a big audiobook fan because I can stitch whilst I listen so please can you choose some books that are available in audio format. Love being introduced to books I haven’t come across before and then see other people’s comments.
-
I know for sure that at least one of the books scheduled until September is available on Audible, but not so sure about the others. Almost all of them are available as print and ebook; and many of the ebooks have the ‘speech’ function enabled. A bit ‘mechanical’ but perhaps a possibility. The publishers of quilting novels seem to be smaller outlets so not prioritising audio (guessing it is still expensive to make).

What a great idea. What size were the books and were these finished appliqués stitched in the book with any text with them? Love this group activity.
-
The books are 8×8 blank sketchbooks. Yes finished appliqués, some quilted. The book is getting very fat now. Struggling to close it. There’s not a lot of text, just a reminder to myself of when they were done, why and the materials.
