As frustrating as it is, this is so true and such a great tip. I totally agree with Alison.
I have not done any sewing since Xmas eve, when I finally finished my great nephews quilt.
The reason??? A picked up a bad case of the flu, which has left me bed bound for 6 days, and now house bound

I am really glad that you have found the blog useful. As I said to Judith in my reply to her, I would suggest for your first attempt that you buy a cheap diary. Don’t use your best fabric – use a cheap one first of all. Try following the instructions that I have given (if you can!!!) and if need be, watch a tutorial on YouTube for a b…[Read more] -

I would really love to see your finished results Heather if you can post it onto the blog….but be warned, once you start covering books it becomes very addictive!

Lovely little blog Jo, I make lots of book covers and really enjoy making them. I love Tilda fabric as well and have made some of her items – my favourite is a seabird who has very long legs and lives in my bathroom. Looking forward to next months blog x

A lovely read and I too want to start doing this, its just the time shortage getting in the way. One of the ladies I have coming to one of my groups is well into this method of stitching and creates some lovely pieces. I need to get over my obsession of having everything looking perfect!!! A pre-printed piece I may take a look at purchasing.
