As promised, or threatened, the October book in the UKQU book club is another quilting mystery book. It is called The Cat, the Quilt and the Corpse and is the first book in the Cats in Trouble Mystery series of eight books featuring Lillian Hart who makes quilts for a living. The books are written by Leann Sweeney

Confession, I haven’t actually read this book as we suddenly had a move to manage during August and September – at the same time as keeping up with the day job, school holidays, mini quilt swaps and now lately the hunt for fuel to get children to school and adults to work.

Reading the blurb and many positive reviews it seemed like a great book for our little book club – a professional quilt maker solving mysteries and considering the name of her three cats – Chablis, Syrah and Merlot – she seems to be an intriguing and fun person! Please do let me know if you enjoyed this book (or not).
