Very interesting and although I don’t quilt myself (YET) I thoroughly enjoy going to the shows and am amazed by the talent, thought and passion that goes into every quilt.
Keep up the lovely work everyone can appreciate every stitch.

My quilting group had a speaker who was a Volunteer at Festival of Quilts.
It was fascinating all the behind the scenes work that goes into making this a fantastic show for us.
I have a quilting friend in Australia who comes over for it Every Year!

Much to my shame, I have thought very little about the hard work in producing the show. I had my first visit last year and loved it.

If bloggers on the UKQU site are not prevented or disallowed from entering the draw for tickets, I would love a pair of tickets because it is the first time it hasn’t clashed with the Fairport Convention Cropredy Music Festival.

I would love the chance to win tickets. I’ve been on a no-spend for nearly a year now and this would be a fab way of working round my ban.

Haven’t been for a couple of years. A day there would be great.

Thought I’d miss this ( my first FOQ ) as family holiday was this weekend – but had to move that, so really looking forward to being able to come especially now having read all about behind the scenes! Thankyou for fascinating insight.
