How wonderful, I often watch Jenny Doan on youtube at Missouri Star, her fuss free instructions are amazing. To see her Trunk Show would be a great treat that presently is just a wish!

My friend and I would love to see Jenny, she was inspirational to me to have a go at quilting quilting. To watch and listen to her would be a unforgettable experience and a brilliant way to spend a sunday afternoon

At last one year I can actually visit FOQ & would love to win

I would love to see Jenny. We were in Missouri in April but it was Jenny’s wedding anniversary and she wasn’t there. To say I was gutted was an understatement.

Would love to have the tickets as a friend is visiting the FoQ for first time and was very disappointed her trunk show was sold out.

I would love to win these for the Saturday, my lovely Aunt and friend Jacky would absolutely adore this talk. She is to blame for my love of sewing, came to stay one year and sent me to buy a sewing machine as she couldn’t survive the 6 week visit without one!! I would love to surprise her with the tickets x

Would love the chance for me and my friend Dee to see her have followed her journey and been so inspired with her love of quilting and how she had the time with so many children aswell inspirational. We are booked to go the FOQ show on the Sunday 4 August for my birthday treat

I can understand your excitement. Love the patchwork chair. Just make sure Tilly does not order too much extra fabric on the phone!

It looks lovely in there. And you will be able to lose yourself sewing away from the phone, the doorbell etc. I wish I had insisted in double glazing for mine!

I have long been telling all and sundry that I am building up a stock of fabric for if and when I can no longer afford to buy it. I have a badge saying ‘It’s not stash. It’s my retirement fund’! I am fortunate in that my OH encourages me to buy! After all, he says, if you don’t use it someone will! As we have a daughter and a grandaughter who sew, it’s a point. Our grandson enjoys a bit of sewing now and then, too!

Looks like its going to be the in place to go! How lovely is this to finally get a dedicated space. My small bedroom has also become outgrown, one day soon I too shall have another place to go. I bet you are dead excited.

Very interesting and although I don’t quilt myself (YET) I thoroughly enjoy going to the shows and am amazed by the talent, thought and passion that goes into every quilt.

My quilting group had a speaker who was a Volunteer at Festival of Quilts.
It was fascinating all the behind the scenes work that goes into making this a fantastic show for us.
I have a quilting friend in Australia who comes over for it Every Year!

Much to my shame, I have thought very little about the hard work in producing the show. I had my first visit last year and loved it.

If bloggers on the UKQU site are not prevented or disallowed from entering the draw for tickets, I would love a pair of tickets because it is the first time it hasn’t clashed with the Fairport Convention Cropredy Music Festival.

I would love the chance to win tickets. I’ve been on a no-spend for nearly a year now and this would be a fab way of working round my ban.
