I am trying to pick a wide range of books, so some months may not be to your liking.

It’s always surprising how much more subtle the thread colour looks off the reel, isn’t it? I do like these Gutermann threads for hand quilting – as you say, so easy to use.

UPDATE APRIL 2020 — I have submitted a request to Amazon to reduce the price on all our books. Hopefully it’ll be approved soon! The Kindle versions are still available for free if your are a Kindle Unlimited subscriber.

Brilliant, and saved from landfill. My Local charity shop takes all my tiny scraps. They weigh them and send to the scrap man. All good. I recently used old jeans on a quilt challenge and sent a dangerous pocket off to an exhibition . Love your OG.

I know I have some insulbright lurking somewhere, but where? I also have an incredibly vile disgusting set of stained and burnt OG’s that look at me with disgust every time I go into the kitchen. Burnt because I have forgotten to turn the gas off before anything comes out of the oven to go on the stove top! I WILL find that heat resistant wadding to make some, but just which box is it in? If I do find it I might make some big “Man Chef Mittens” for DH to use on the BBQ as well!

I love how you have used the jean pockets! Sadly I am not a fan of oven gloves – I find them much harder to use than a folded up tea towel!

UKQU BOOK CLUB 7 years agoSally, I am glad you found the book fascinating. It definitely opened my eyes to a life so different to what we are used to in England!
